Walking Frames / ZImmerframes

Walking frames or zimmer frames are available in a range of sizes and widths. Domestic indicates a standard width which is more stable whilst ultra narrow are as indicated narrower frames - perfect for narrow hall ways or petite users. 

Walking frames are available with wheels - i.e. two front wheels and two back stoppers - or without wheels. The stoppers feature non slip ferrules (the grey rubber feet) which provide safe and sturdy support. Black caps may be added to the ferrules of wheeled walking frames. These are called carpet glides and allow the frame to move across carpet uninhibited. 

Walking frames are most commonly issued in medium or large sizes so small sizes will be for the most petite users and may have longer lead times.
